The journey you will take…

Not all yoga teacher trainings are made equal. Our approach follows a very specific arc, which mirrors the underlying philosophy here at The Dharma Approach. That is — Presence, Ceremony, Remembrance. Presence is where we arrive and find ourselves. It´s the practice(s) of embodiment. Ceremony is where the transformation takes place. Remembrance is what we bring home and what brings us home.

Part 1

Embodiment

We can only guide people as far as we have been ourselves. This module is about learning to live the life of a yogi(ni), on and off the mat. We are forever students.

Part 2

Sacred Leadership

The student becomes the teacher — and understands the responsibility that comes with that. Here you begin to hone your skills as a spaceholder and guardian of this ancient practice.

Part 3

Lineage & Craft

This is where we begin to specialise in the Dharma Yoga Method, a form of classical Hatha Raja yoga, with a modern twist. The Dharma Yoga Teaching Course forms the bulk of this section.

Part 4

Internship & Integration

This is the homework, practicum and assessment stage where you get to demonstrate all that you have learned and retained.

This is a deep, immersive, and transformative teacher training delivered in a passionate, playful, and heartfelt manner. It will require you to work. But the work will pay off. We´re not here to just hand out certificates. We´re here to make sure sure you get the message.
