About
There are experiences that change you quietly. While others crack you open completely. Some do both at once — leaving you standing in a world that looks the same but feels entirely different. More vivid. More true. More beautiful. Like the colour has been turned up on everything.
The Dharma Approach exists to hold these experiences. Welcome.
Our HomeWhat This Place Is
Think of it less as a website and more as a threshold — an online space where meaningful, heart-stirring, sometimes heart-crushing encounters with yourself become possible.
We are not a streaming platform. You won't find a library of classes to scroll through at midnight. What you will find is a curated ecosystem of heart-led offerings: yoga, ceremony, embodiment, women´s circles, retreats, and the kind of teaching that asks something of you.
At its heart, The Dharma Approach is an extension of Krissa Ludvigsen Yoga and her yoga school — a school rooted in Dharma Yoga, and inspired by feminine wisdom. We offer teacher trainings, retreats, and immersive courses for those who want to practice and teach from a place of genuine understanding. We exist for people craving not just technique, but real felt experiences and transformation.
Our RootsRooted in Ceremony
Everything here moves through a particular arc.
Presence. Ceremony. Remembrance.
These are not just words we return to — they are the shape of the journey we hope every offering at The Dharma Approach will take you on.
Presence is the beginning. The act of arriving — fully, deliberately — into your body, your breath, the room, the moment. Most of us spend our lives just outside of it.
Ceremony is the container. It is what transforms an experience from something mundane into something sacred. Ceremony is not just what happens to you. It´s something you consciously move through. Ceremony doesn't require candles or ritual objects (though we love both). It requires intention. A threshold. A willingness to journey towards a state of being you might not even know existed.
Remembrance is what awakens. Not memory in the ordinary sense, but the deeper recognition — the feeling of coming back to something you always knew. The self that exists beneath the noise. The truth that was never lost, only buried and forgotten.
This is why ceremony isn't one offering among many at TDA. It is the lens through which all offerings are held. A yoga class can be ceremony. A women´s circle can be ceremony. A teacher training, a retreat, a single breath taken with full awareness — all of it, ceremony.
When we build containers for transformation, we build them this way. And we invite every facilitator and teacher who works alongside us to do the same.
Our VisionWhat We're Building
This ecosystem is growing. For students and practitioners, it is becoming a trusted home for going deeper — a place where the practice doesn't stay on the mat but begins to shape how you move through the world. For facilitators, teachers, and guides doing aligned, integrity-led work, it is becoming a gathering point — a community that understands transformation doesn't happen in 60/75/90-minute drop-in classes alone, but in sustained, regular, intentional containers.
We are founded by Krissa Ludvigsen but actively managed and organised by both Krissa and her team.
Our VisionFor Students & Practitioners
Whether you are brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, what brings people to The Dharma Approach is usually the same thing — a feeling that there is more. More depth available in the practice. More meaning to be found in the body. More of yourself to come home to.
Here you will find a yoga school with roots — in lineage, in philosophy, in the kind of teaching that doesn't just show you what to do but helps you understand why. From immersive retreats and women's circles to a full 200-hour teacher training, every offering is designed to take you somewhere real.
You don't need to want to become a teacher to belong here. You just need to be willing to show up.
Our EdgeFor Facilitators & Collaborators
If you facilitate classes, retreats, circles, somatic work, or other heart-led experiences… If you have a burning passion (your dharma calling) that contributes to ceremonial, growth-driven, transformative experiences in some way… If you're looking for “the glue”, the red thread, the thing that can tie us all together… The Dharma Approach might be your home too.
What a collaboration with TDA offers:
An aligned audience. Our community is self-selecting. They are seekers, practitioners, and people who already understand the value of depth. You won't need to convince them that what you do matters.
Co-promotion. Your offering goes out to our email list and social platforms, introduced with the same care and context it deserves.
Curatorial weight. Being part of TDA signals something. It tells your potential participants that your work has been vetted — that it holds to a standard of integrity and intention.
A collaborative spirit. We're not a marketplace. We don't post and disappear. We genuinely want your offering to land well, and we'll work with you to frame and position it in a way that serves your participants and your practice.
Growing infrastructure. As TDA expands, so does what we can offer — a deeper online presence, retreats at beautiful venues, and an increasingly strong community to grow alongside.
We're selective because we have to be. The Dharma Approach holds a specific frequency, and everything here — every offering, every facilitator, every event — is chosen to honour that.
Next StepsThe Invitation
Whether you're here to train as a yoga teacher, join a women's circle, attend a retreat, or explore working with us as a facilitator — welcome. You found this place for a reason.
Presence. Ceremony. Remembrance.
This is the journey. It begins here.
